Random Thoughts

I became lazy. So I shall not continue my Incomplete Letter...or at least, not in the near future. (Take that as never.)

Random thoughts for stories...

The peak of my life is near, and so too is the end of it.
You would rather die proud and colourful?
I choose a quiet and serene death.
Why? Why would you choose to die old, haggard and forgotten, with no trace of your existence?
For what does the world need me for my trace?
Your place is in the battlefield.
Mine is the ward you so frequently visit after you return from the battlefield.
One day you'll be the man everyone wants you to be.
Your place is one I can never take.
Neither do I wish to.
You and I are simply made for different things.
Made?
Is that what you think?
Do you not agree that our life is what we make it to be?
No.
No?
We did not make our lives.
Our lives were made.
So you would choose to sabotage your chance to make a difference, and stay the 'made product' that you make yourself to be?
Let's stop this discussion.
Answer me!
No life was made equal.
How can you be so sure?
Look around you.
Have you not seen the poverty that happens beyond our reach?
Famine, drought, death--why?
If life were made equal, why are we here, with the choice to heal or kill?
They have no choice over their destinies.
No, they did.
They didn't--stop it, I don't want to discuss this with you.
Coward.
Coward?
Where would you be right now if I weren't in that ward?
...
I'm sorry.
I didn't mean it like that.
Please, let's stop this discussion.
You have no idea how much it pricks.
Why does it prick?
Stop it.
...Okay.
