hello! i just took 4 photos of Metal Gear RAY, sent them to Otacon, and am now witnessing a daring act from Ocelot. hehheehooo.
today, 11.00am, i got out of the house to go to meet mn, lh and swj when i was supposed to meet at station at 11.00am. LOL. then we reached SCH at erh, i think it was close to 12, who knows and cares. but the darn tickets were given out only at 1.10pm. @&(#*&$*(#&@ !
ok, had a quite heavy lunch and watched band number erh i think it was 89? = hsc. followed by i think it was teck wai (how to spell? no idea), then... you know, i think i shall not list the schools anymore; my memory is as good as a buffalo.
so, came the moment of revelation. i has never seen a results sharing that was as weird as this. no one was screaming with joy or sadness!!! it is too damn weird.
well, my comment is, first, i must know what the name of the choice piece that hsc played is. haha.
i dun really know what to comment actually. i've been out of this circle for too damn long, i can't even play a decent piece of doraemon, so yah. i'm just wondering if the judges hate loud sounds in general.
either way, well, hsc, you can't rely on star players. i mean... it makes a heck lot of sense for star players to make the main band sound good, not to stick out of the main band. and dare to perform.. hscband sounds just about as fresh as someone who came directly out of VR Training (virtual reality) haha. i think a concert at the end of the year is a good start to accumulate actual combat experience !(!??!?! too much metal gear) ... you gotta start getting addicted to perform. or there's practically no joy up the stage. once you're in band, you live to perform. or at least, seems that way to me. you don't live for competitions, dudes and dudettes.
*drama music everywhere*
actually, i think it's a big deal not to get Gold. 2yrs ago i cheated myself into thinking that it's the hard work that counts. but when you think about it, do you believe it's really like that? i think the crying and all that proves that no one wants anything less than a Gold. getting a silver...or rather, not getting a Gold means too many things. the funny thing is Gold itself doesn't even mean anything. but i think, it is the direct result of what you put in. there's no telling yourself that the judges were harsh or stuff like that. there's just no room for such crap.
anyway, whether you put in your best or not, it's up to you to decide as individuals.
i'd love to see hscband come back "with a vengeance" though. i mean, you got a silver, so live with it--you've got the advantage of showing tremendous improvement now instead of having the pressure of having to live up to expectations. haha.
but if the main band decides that that's the end of the improvement road, then i guess it's about time i stop going back to visit. (erm. but i will still go for outings with my juniors LOL fun doesn't stop there OK??)
after saying so much, to sum everything up, let me just put it simply: You lost, so just suck it all up and move on. you've got better things to worry about from now on.
(i worry about pressing the post button. wonder if i'm clicking on a landmine. LOL.)
OMG!
